Question 3 inch level
How bad is a 3 inch level on the ball joints of an 08 4x4? And also, would a 3 inch level and an add a leaf in the rear make my 08 4x4 sit level?

Very bad. I wouldn't go over 2.5 inches.

would 3 inches versus 2.5 inches really be that much worse?

yup it is there are alot more problems with the 3 vs the 2.5
