question on front lift 2000 ford f150 2wd

ok i have been reading the forum and i see some say use front spacers or torsion adjustment. well after looking at my 2000 ford 150 there arent any torsion bars was hoping for a easy minor lift so what parts will i need now? is there anyone who can point me in the right direction with maybe some links to photos and parts i will need to complete this job, like will i need new shocks what spacer blocks are best and most cost effective etc and photos please. thanks for any help

you need the spacer or a 2" coil
and about 4 hrs since this is your first time. other than that maybe some new shocks

i ran a spacer for about 6 months before my lift

Good thing for you is that there are like a million and a half different ways to lift these trucks... and I have tried a few of them. I also have a 2wd..

I started with a body lift off of amazon (174 dollars shipped). These you dont need new shocks for.

After I got the body lift, I just had to have more so I opted for a 5.5" kit (these kits include lift spindles, shocks, and lift coils) from doestch suspensions which cost me about $900 and got me to here.

You can also do like thejake1989 did which goes with what triathlonrunner said with the daystar leveling kit which cost like 40 bucks or so and then you pay to get an alignment. Jake has plenty of pictures in his albums if you want to check them out.

You have alot of options to lift the front.. just depends on how high you want to go. My truck was just about a inch lower in the front with the factory rake and some trucks are worse. You will have to lift the front/back accordingly to how much rake you have to make it level.
