Does my truck have a leveling kit?

I bought my 05 screw 4X4 XLT used and I'm not sure if previous owner installed a leveling and or lift kit. It seems to sit higher than stock trucks and it appears to sit level. There is approx. 9 inches of space in between the top of tires and the fender (front and back). It has 285/70/17 tires if that helps. Thanks for any help.

it'll be kind of hard to tell by a measurement, just take a picture from the front
if you can and we should be able to tell.

Look at the strut if there is an extra piece on top then you have a leveling kit.

You may also have a leveling shock instead.

I found the easiest way to post pictures is to put them on your profile page. And then there will be a code below it that starts with [IMG] if you copy and paste that to your post it will bring the picture up on here. Hope that helps

That or if you have a photobucket account, or would make one (FREE) you can upload and edit photos and then post them by thier (IMG) code.

You definitely have a leveling system of some sort on there. Usually they look like the one Nettershakes posted tho. Its like a hollowed out cake with a table top on both sides... Your's kinda looks like a cake. Nothing wrong with that, Ive just never seen that before. Stick your head up under the wheel well and look down at the top of the coilover assembly. If you see "NHL" written anywhere, you may want to consider a different option.

Im just messing man I've just never seen one like that before. But hey it is a level kit. Might be a daystar or one that's polyurethane, since it looks solid.
