Warped front suspension?

I ordered a 3" leveling kit for my truck over 2 months ago, installed it and wasnt happy with the results. My truck should be level but sits 1" lower in the front. some said I might have a warped suspension which is plausible. its an 04 F150 lariat 4x4 supercrew. my friend has the same truck and leveling kit, and his truck sits properly. i looked at the suspension and it looks normal as far as I can see. If anyone knows the problem, has had the same problem and/or can tell me how to fix the problem, it would be greatly appreciated. im wondering is this normal or is something wrong with my suspension. also i was wondering if the previous owner installed 2wd front shocks (how can i tell if they are 2wd shocks if they are?)
Thanks,
Chris

3" kits are generally not recommend by most members on this site. reason being it puts a lot of stress on the ball joints, which any leveling kit will do, but their pretty extreme on a 3". i have a 2.5" kit on my 04 supercrew and it sits perfectly level. 3" SHOULD make your truck sit level, or possibly even a little nose high, but it definitely shouldn't sag in the front at all. i dont know how you could tell if the shocks are 2wd, or if thats even possible on a 4x4 truck, so hopefully another member will chime in. the only reason i could think of that your truck would still have any front rake left after a 3" kit is if the previous owner installed bigger rear blocks or added a leaf spring to the your truck.

My rear end is stock. Nothing has been altered. Standard 2inch blocks with standard leaf springs. I can't figure out what's wrong to save my life and its driving me nuts. If its not a 3" its definitely a 2.5 which atleast sit level.

Could you post some pics of your front suspension? Is it possible the previous owner installed lowering coils up front?

I'll do my best. I'm new to the site so might take a little longer than usual
