Rim rubing on swaybar

I have a 01 SCrew lariat and i have a 1.5 daystar leveling kit on it. When i put the kit on i noticed some rubbing and after looking around i realized it was the rim rubbing the swaybar.

Has anyone else experienced this? and how harmful can this be to the truck?

I got 2 inch lift coils on my truck with 255/75/r16 tires and mine will rub the sway bar sometimes on a really hard full lock turn. It isn't going to hurt anything

Is it the rim or the tire rubbing?

Im almost certain that it is the rim because theres a small groove in the sway bar and the edge of the rim is shiny like its fresh metal

The rim should not be hitting the sway bar. That's probably an issue you want a shop to look at

i figured you were talking about the tire rubbing for some reason. did you get an alignment afterward? stock wheels?

you sure its the sway bar and not the tie rod end? don't know how that would be possible without changing the rims though.

if there is enough contact to cause grinding metal you need to get that looked at.

Yeah i still havent got an alignment so maybe that could help? if it stull rubs then i will take it in to the shop. And yes im positive its the sway bar. Its just at a full lock to the left. Also i do have the stock rims still

most likely a camber issue. get that alignment checked asap. it may have been out before the install and the install just worsened things.
