so does anyone know how much travel the rancho XL9000 series shocks allow for? i cant find a number anywere. sounds kinda stupid but just a question.

They will allow fo the normal, stock suspension travel. Shocks, as a general rule, are not the limit whenmit comes to travel. The bump stops at each end do that job and shocks obviously can't increase travel beyond what's engineered on the control arms.

this is true but the control arms allow for more travel than what the stock shocks do.
