Replacing shocks
Anyone replaced their own shocks on their truck and if so, how much did it cost you and at what mileage did you do it? I'm at 94,000 on my '07 2wd supercrew and haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary having to do with the suspension and handling.
Only reason I ask about shocks is when I was getting my fuel filter changed today the guy said I should think about changing shocks and proceeded to quote me just under a grand to do it. I should be able to hold off for a while right and I should be able to easily to it myself?

Did mine recently. It was pretty easy. The only hard part is compressing the springs for the front struts. With the right tools it's not too bad.
I replaced mine at 75k because I was starting to get repeated bouncing in the front end when hitting potholes. I put in a set of monroe reflexes for about $350.
