full suspension questions

hypothetically lets say i want to go with a fantastic suspension setup. not quite finishing baja 1000 but good enough to be a chase vehicle in a '10 SCrew FX4

ive come from the jeep world and everyone knows there that the best stuff is making your own "kit" from pieced together parts. that said the only components i know that i want to use is the 4" Deaver springs in the rear

im trying to keep the suspension as low as possible while running the largest tires. 35 or 37" tires

ideas? thoughts? this is all a learning experience for me

your going to need at least a 6in. lift to run 35's-37's properly, you could go long travel if you wanted it a little lower.

To be a chase truck.....your gonna need some sort of long travel kit, camburg has a nice one that ive been considering for a while, not bad of a price for what you get..

yeah i figured he would more than likely want long travel. i know awhile back rize made a long travel f150, not sure if they ever developed the kit though.

Im not too sure either but then again i guess it all depends on what kind of terrain this chase truck will be running too...I've seen everything from full blow pre-runner chase trucks to f150's with just bilsteins, and i guess it also depends on the price tag too. Def check out the camburg kit along with the stage II pro comp kit and long travel fabtech kit with the dirt logics.
