Talking

Dang it's about time.... Well here ya'll go. My 2000 F150 4X4 with a RCX 5inch lift sitting on Goodyear MTR's 33's and Energy Suspension bushings (black) with several more mods to come in the near future.

Will post more pics soon (hopefully) LOL. The rear of the truck sits a skootch too low. RCX is awesome and sending me the right parts for free.

great looking ride MudDuck, looks a lot like my previous ride, a lifted 1997 white supercab. Are those rims Eagle Alloys? What size are they? Any chance you could post some closer-up pictures of the rims/tires for me? I'm trying to decide on which ones to buy for my new truck and I'm liking the look of yours but want to see more!

Meanstreak, yes the rims are Eagle Alloys. They came off of my old F150 that burnt to the ground (man I loved that truck). Anyhow they are 16x10. I'll post more pics soon ,if I can. Dude it took me two days to get one pic to load but I'll get up for ya.

Ford fan, it was not very hard to install the lift. When you do it deticate the weekend to doing it. It took me and my neighbor two days. Didn't run into to big issues during the lift install but spent several hours each day removing and installing the CA bushings. The CA bushings dont come with the lift but since all the suspension was being taken apart I felt it was a good time to do them. I went with Energy Suspension CA bushings and let me tell ya if you do the same you are going to have to trim the edges of the lower CA bushings they send, just dont sacrifice the main face.

I also did all my ball joints and tie rod ends so that too took up more time. I would suggest to you that while you're installing your lift you do the same. Also if your truck has T-bars you may want to look into getting a T-bar unloading tool. I was told several differnt methods to unload t-bars but I just figured I would buy the tool and have it and it made me feel a little more at ease when removing them since I never really fooled around with t-bars(I've heard some horror stories).

All in all I am very pleased with the lift and also with RCX. They have excellent customer service and take care of their customers. If you do change your CA bushings hit me back and I'll tell how I made a tool for the installation and removal. And just to let you know the kit says 4 to 5 inch lift I spoke top RCX and they said it all depends on how your t-bars are set to which height your lift will be. After measuring my truck my front is 5 1/2 inches of lift with the t-bars set from the factory (no adjustments made). I'm waiting for the correct blocks to be sent to me to readjust the rear since they sent me 3 inchers by mistake.

Good luck and if I could help hit me up because there are some things in their instructions you dont have to do that shave off some time and elbow grease.
