2.5 leveling kit

Ok here is my delima. I just received a 2.5 leveling kit for Fathers Day and I'm not sure if I want to return it for a 2 leveling kit because I am not ready to buy bigger tires. I am running 275/65/18 now and I want my truck to sit level but I dont want a huge fender gap. Any advice would be apperciated.

My 04 sat so high in the rear I needed the 2 1/2" kit to level it out. You will need larger diameter tires after to fill in the wells but you will love the way it look's afterward.

I think im just going to put it on and see what it looks like. Maybe if it looks silly my boss (aka the wife) will let me buy some bigger tires. Thanks for the pics and the advice.

My 04 sits really high in the rear so I needed the 2.5 and its still not 100% level

I put 2.5" on my '05 FX4 scab and I can live with it till I get larger tires. IMO it sat low enough that 2.5 put it where it should be.

I would put in on.

Regards,

If you dont like how it sits then just buy a bigger block for the rear but then your really gonna need bigger tires.

I just picked up a Readylift 3" leveling kit, which I was told would actually level out 2.5"

Anybody have any idea why when I measure the spacer out of the box, it's only 1 3/4" when it's supposed to be a 3" or 2.5" increase?

Because when its ontop of the shock it adjusts the angle and gives you the 2.5.

Yeah, I thought that might be the case. I just got off the phone with Readylift. They told me that actually is a 3" leveling kit. My supplier had something wrong cuz Readylift used to only offer 2" and 3" but they've just recently added a 2.5"

Think I'll have to exchange this kit and blocks and work out the right combo.
