another leveling question...

after doing a lot of searching, still haven't been able to get this cleared up -
i have an 03 2wd, and want to bring the front end up, preferably with a daystar kit. would like to go 2.5", but i keep reading that i need aftermarket UCA's. what does that mean? i replaced the UCA's not that long ago when i replaced upper and lower balljoints, and am wondering if it just means i need to have an adjustable camber system or whatever installed with the subsequent alignment?
would appreciate some clarification/advice
thanks,

jack

you should'nt need any aftermarket parts to do this. just crank the torsion bars.

He doesn't have torsion bars on his truck.
If you go higher than 2 inches with a spacer or taller coilsprings you will need longer aftermarket upper control arms to be able to get your front end alignment within specs. Go with the 2 inch Daystar spacers. If you want to go taller you can add 3 inch lift spindles or a 3 inch body lift. Or you can combine all three for 8 inches of lift.

thanks wandell - that was exactly what i needed to hear. now i have some reading to do on lift spindles (eventually will go with 5-6" suspension lift i think).
cheers,

jack
