2.5" leveling kit?

hey all im new to the forum...i have a 2008 f150 supercrew 4x4 and am interested in doing the 2.5 inch leveling kit..i just dont really know what all i need with it...is it just the front i need to raise or do i do the front and add a leaf in the rear? i was going to do both but would it not sit right with both? i dont know im kinda confusing myself but ill look into the kits some more...just looking for some advice from people that had done it...thanks!

first welcome to the site. its a nice place . all you really need is the front 2.5 level. thats the highest i would go (no 3"). its kinda up or down with the back end being lifted or left alone. since your 4x4, i would prob lift it. i am 2wd and wanted the slight rake so i added a 1.5 block in back. personal opinion. it matters on your taste. look around on the photo gallery to get some ideas (even search it). good luck

This should help, specifically post #2, if not, ask some more questions!

I have a 2007 f150 4x4 with 2.5 leveling kit and it sits perfect without the add a leaf.

i just have a 2" daystar level kit and it sets level but because the front tires have extra room in the front wheel well due to the level sometimes it looks unlevel when sitting in an uphill position. I would really like the add a leaf or rear block someday to get some rake back.
