Installing blisteins?
Looking at ordering a set of 4 blisteins with the 2 inch level for my f150. found a set for 400 bucks but wondering how easy they are to install. I would be doing it in my drive way. Is it pretty easy or better left to a shop especially for the front?
thanks

are you saying with the 2" adjustment or along with a 2" level? the second one would be a big no no! as far as the bilstiens, removing the strut is not bad but the springs like mentioned can be unsafe! like take your head off unsafe. maybe you can take the strut assembly to a shop and save a buck. just an idea.
I did them myself, I put on the bilsteins for a 6" lift kit but its exactly the same process. All you need is heavy duty spring compressors and you can just rent those from your local auto store! I was able to do both mine in about 2 hours, very nice upgade so its worth the money and time!

im thinking i'll just take it to the shop. my friend has a farm one but he's just starting to farm and isnt around for a month
ok cool, thats the way to go. the best way.
its prob the best to do it at a shop. if you have done this before or have someone who has then you could get away with it. i'ld stick with what your doing. your making the good decisions already.

no no. right now its stock height and am wanting 2 inch so instead of doing the blocks on the stock strut id rather just replace the stock with the blistein with the adjustments.

I am 17 years old and I did this! Its honestly no big deal! Just get heavy duty spring compressors, and by the way these coils only need to be compressed about 2-3" the remove the strut. This is as easy as it gets! I was able to rent HD compressors from auto zone and sense it only took me 2 hours, I got all my money back.
