Removing leveling Kit?

What would be involved in removing a leveling kit? Are there any stock parts that have been removed that I would need to put back on.

The previous owner installed the kit, and may have gone a little too high. If I put anything in the bed then the front sits higher than the back, and I am hauling something almost all of the time.

Thanks

'07 screw, XLT 4x4.

No parts removed. You just need to take it off. Or you could do an aal to keep the back from sagging

^X2 Maybe you should just do a block or an add a leaf in the back to bring it up a bit.

^^^^ bigger block won't solve his problems cuz it happens when the bed is loaded and the block doesn't add to help that like the aal

back the torsion keys off slightly, till it sets at a comfy hight.this only requires backing the 2 bolts out a few turns, you will be amazed how much 1 full turn will drop the front, or there are 3 bolts that need to be removed if there are spring spacers, but that will drop front the full 2 inches

Ditto

Ditto what Jake said, either remove the front leveling kit or get something to help out your rear springs like an add a leaf or some bags.

i would also do the aal. the other route, nothing stock goes back. your only adding a piece in between the strut and strut tower when you level it. a spacer technically. you will need an alignment prob and may need to look at what size tire your running if they still fit.

Thanks for the help. I'll be removing the leveling kit this weekend if the dealer can get the 3rd brake light and rear window leak fixed today.

If your remove the kit you will need to have a front end alignment done. If you tow/haul often the air bags or add a leaf would be a better option anyway.

If you are hauling a lot of stuff, why not just aal? Then you can haul even more stuff!

I haul drywall a lot of the time, so I'm planning on doing a 1.5" front and aal to the back.
