I have a 2004 supercrew. I am thinking about getting a body lift. I have heard there are some difficulties installing a body lift on the 04's. Does anyone have any advice?

 

I had mine installed on my 04 SCrew FX4 and they said it was a pain in the butt. Then I had a 6" Suspension lift put on as well.....My Black truck is still in my gallery....

 

You have heard right, it can be difficult and very time consuming installing a BL. I have installed my fair share of both body lifts and suspension lifts and I much prefer the overall end results of suspension lifts. I installed one in my dad's 04 and had no more problems than any others I've lifted...

Really? That's good to hear. Maybe it's because you have experience. After you install one or two you learn what to look for as far as potential problems. I know I have. I hear the 09-10's are easier than the 04-08's.
