Lift kit for new wheels/tires???

My F150 4x4 has a few upgrades, Flowmaster cat back, K&N and Hypertech programmer (blower in my dreams). This is my daily driver (keeping it that that way), only put about 2K annually on it, rarely offroad it but would like to more often. I want a mean looking truck.
I just bent two of my wheels so I decided to replace all the wheels and tires. I am on a tight budget and this is an unexpected expense but I usually go all out when I do things. Currently I am going to order the KMC Rockstar 18x9 black wheels with 285/60/18 Nitto Terra Grappler. I want to order these wheels/tires on Sunday from "Performance Plus". Does anyone recommend ordering from somewhere else, or another tire?
I have always wanted to lift the truck about 4", noticable but not too much for a daily driver. Since I am buying wheels/tires now, I would love to lift it now so I can order bigger tires. Do I have to find the money to lift it now or is there a tire option that will work fine for now, then I can lift it in about a year and it will be perfect for the lift? Also I am a very novice mechanic, is a 4" lift something that a beginner can install? Normally I wouldn't consider it, but I can't afford to pay my mechanic now.
I don't want to do a body lift but I am wondering if a 3" body lift is easy to install then maybe I can install that for now, then install a suspension lift later. Seems like all the 4" suspension lift kits costs around $1,500. Does anyone know of a kit that is much cheaper, good quality, and easy to install? If I do a 3" body lift now, what size tire should I order? Thanks and all recommendations and advice is greatly appreciated!!!
