Add a leaf?

Hey guys I have a 28' trailer and its pretty close to the max capacity of my 2006 F150 Screw with the 5.4. The truck pulls the trailer just fine but I feel like the rear suspension could use a little help. I'm thinking of installing an add a leaf kit and just wondering if anyone on here has installed a particular kit with good results and if you can let me know what it is. Any help appreciated and open to any other suggestions if people have them.

might want to look into and air bag setup for the rear, there are a few people on here running them and are quite happy. If i towed a trailer that large i would be getting airbags for sure.

I too would look into bags. The are similarly priced and probably easier to install (not taking the leaf pack apart from the axle). Te ride can be adjusted too so if you have no load, the ride will not be any rougher than when you didn't have any help in the rear.

okay i looked into the air bags and they look like the better route to go. Here's two that look like good kits to me. What do you guys think?

For what you are towing I would go with the Super Springs self adjusting helper springs. No maintenance or adjustment, they are there when you need them and do not affect the ride when empty. I had them on my 98 and loved them, should have went that route this time but was trying to save money and went with an aal.
