Moms 01 supercrew is in need of shocks and that tax refund spend list has shocks in it. it is a 2wd with a tow package and a 5.4l. she whats a smooth rode so i was thinking about monroe sensatracs from oreillys but im in for sure it they will work for the truck. all the sensatracs say except 7700 gross wight, which is what i think her truck is. doe they sensatracs say that because they dont like to be used for towing truck? since dad got a Super Duty last year and now the most the SuperCrew tows is our utility trailer with a four wheeler or two on it. so can we use the sensatracs on it or is there something else that i should be looking at? thanks.

 

I would double check that the tow package is the 7700 GVW model, it looks like Ford also offered an F150 Heavy Duty, which might be the one that needs the different shocks. Monroe does make a sensatrac for the 7700 GVW trucks, you can see those here:

i had mom check the gvwr and see said it was like 6000 and some pounds so got the ones that where not for 7700.
