Leveling Kit Question

I recently purchased a 2010 F-150 Supercrew 4x4, and am now trying to figure out which leveling kit to go with. I would like to fit 305/55R20 tires. My main concerns are whether this size tire will rub and maintaining the quality of ride that the truck currently has. I also don't want the front end to be higher than the back end.

As of now, I am leaning towards the 2" Autospring. I am also eying the 2.5". Will the 2" be sufficient to fit the 305/55R20's without any rubbing?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Yes, you can clear 305/55-20's with a 2 or 2.5 inch kit. As for what size, it's up to you. I'd suggest getting a small jack and a tape measure and jack the front of the truck up and decide which size you want.

I would do the 2.5" if your debating. I just did the 2.5" AS on my 2010 FX4 and the 3" Readylift block to the rear. I measured the front from the ground to the bottom of the wheel well and it is 39.5" and the rear sits at 41". And this is with the stock tires still. I plan on adding a shell so I figure with the weight of that it should be perfect. I'm going with 35" tires. My cousin just did the 2.5" in the front on his 07 2wd and he fit 35's on his with a little trimming on the front plastic.

Thanks for the suggestions!

After doing some research on these forums, I may now be leaning towards 2.5" AS level kit in the front and the AS 3" block kit for the rear. How does the AS rear block kit compare to Ready Lift and others?

As for wheels and tires, I plan on using my stock 20" King Ranch wheels. I'm assuming these will not pose a problem with 305/55R20 tires. I really like the Mickey Thompson ATZ's, but I guess tire suggestions can be found in multiple other threads.

Thanks again for the advice.

I used the Readylift rearblocks due to they have the bumpstops and are powdercoated. They are just a bit more but in my opinion worth it. Should look great with 305's

Readylift makes quality products, but they are way overpriced.

I ended up ordering the 2.5" AS level kit for the front, as well as the AS 3" blocks for the rear.

As for tires, I am going with Toyo Open Country AT in either 305/55R20 or 305/60R20. Any suggestions? Should I also consider 35s?

Thanks for the help guys! I'll be sure to post before and after pics once it's done.

Personally, I'd go with the 305/55-20's.

How tall are the 305/55/20's?

They are basically a 33x12.50-20 tire.

So, everything is installed! It looks and rides great! I'll post pics in the next couple of days.

I had the 2.5" level kit installed by a tire shop, and installed the rear 3" block myself. The back was definitely easy enough to do myself, and I really don't have any experience working on trucks.

I went with 305/55-20 Toyo Open Country ATs on my stock King Ranch wheels. I love the look of these tires and the smooth, quiet ride.

Thanks again for all the advice and suggestions provided by the members of this forum.
