2003 Super Crew Pinion Angle shims

Anyone know the factory stock pinion angle shim degree, and where they may be sourced?? My 2wd, short bed super crew is temp "jerry rigged" with multiple shims and I would like to make it right. Ford does not show shims or part numbers in their parts breakdown and they don't have a clue as to the correct shims to use. It is a single drive shaft. Any help would be appreciated.

factory pinion angle shim is 1/2 of a degree.

what have you altered on your truck to need different shims? Lift, lower?

Sounds like you need to have your pinion angle measured by a shop and figure out exactly what degree shim you need, and then buy the shims from an alignment shop, or buy them online.

Patrick, the 1/2 degree reference is what I need to proceed with correcting my pinion angle. It will tell me if anything else is out of whack. The truck was lowered by the previous owner and then a shop reversed it back to original. They failed to re-shim the pinion angle and left a 6 degree shim in. You can imagine how much growl and vibration I had.

Thanks again for the info.. Now to measure and find the right shims.

if you can't find the right shim, just take them all out for the time being. 1/2 is pretty close to 0 and will get you in the ball park for now.
