Both are fine, but the BDS is better.

I hear ya chucufu, I too am trying to decide what to do as far as lift goes. I know I want a 6'' suspension, but im just not sure what to go with. I deffinetly want bang for buck but I also dont have near enough money to go out and pay for a rize lift. Im trying to decide on coils and everything else as well.

I have a 6 inch procomp lift and buddy with his bds 8 inch lift has nothing but problems. First it was the knuckles and fitment and now the suspension is somehow tweaked and clunks alot through turns because the tie rod binds with the shock. He never had it off roading either and soon he is ditching his bds! I havnt had one single problem with the lift and I have over 40000 miles on it. I just recently replaced the procomp 6 inch spacer with bilstein 5100s built for a 6 inch lift and let me just say WOW. Go to my profile and look at my truck with the lift and the bilsteins. To be honest I personally dont think you can go wrong with either, I hear all these great things about bds just my friends truck just throws it out for me.

I don't like either of them.

The procomp has front spacers, stacked rear blocks and the ugliest crossmember known to man. No thanks.

The BDS is definitely high quality, but comes in a really ugly color, also has spacers, and the back end sits up too high. Too much rake for a lift IMO. A little pricey as well (especially if you want the shocks instead of spacers), you can get just as good or better quality for less $$.

I got my 6" kit with new front struts, Block+ AAL in the rear and dual steering stabilizers for $1,850 . not too bad for the quality/warranty you get.

Also about the rake, my truck sits a tad higher in the rear, nothing too major.

Heres a pic on flat ground , looks pretty level to me

I have 65000 miles on my 6" Pro comp stage II coil over lift and not one problem thus far... So why is Pro comp quality junk??? I think the BDS cross member is goofy looking, just a advertisement for their company???

Dont get your panties in a wad. No one said it was junk its just not anywhere close to the quality of BDS. The warranty is not in the same ball park either.

And as far as advertisement for a company... how bout the ***** truck your driving? Have you ever counted the amount of FORD emblems on it.

And if you want to know the quality of your lift then use it for its intended purpose, im pretty sure BDS, Fabtech, Rize, Procomp and RCD will all last under pavement queens.

Sounds like you got a good deal, their MSRP is high. I guess the color, crossmember just dont do it for me. Yours looks about an inch higher in the rear, lot more space in your rear wells than the front. Even if it sits only half inch or 1 inch higher in the rear it bugs the crap outa me, I guess I'm just nit-picky about it being level.

Once you are comparing quality lifts, I guess it comes down to personal preference. I wanted all new shocks without spacers, no stacked blocks, a classy black crossmember, and a perfectly level stance. And for $1500 the Fabtech just fit the bill perfectly. All 4 of my wheel wells are exact same height off the ground. Like within a tenth of an inch.
