could everyone with a leveling kit on a 97-03 f150 put some pics up here please? that'd be very helpful, thanks

 

NO its not like a body lift. It'll just sit higher in the front. DONT buy a kit tho. They are bad for your truck. Just crank your factory keys for FREE and it'll lift it a couple inches in the front...you don't want more than that. it stilll puts a lil more stress on your front end stuff like ball joints, cv boots, etc. but not anything close to as bad as aftermarket torsion keys, which cost $.

 

Right. Stay away from the aftermarket torsion bar adjustment keys/leveling kits for our truck.

Could you explain what the factory keys are and how to do this?

 

check my sig. its a 97 2wd with a level.

 

Follow each torsion bar back to where they mount into the frame crossmember. At the end is an adjustment key/cam with an 18mm bolt. Just turn each bolt an equal number of turns to you get the height you want. You will need an alignment when you finish.

 

wandell how much did your tint cost ?

 

Back in 2001 it was $60 for the two front windows.
