Need shocks - Bilsteins on backorder forever....2007 SuperCrew 2WD
Need some help.
The truck is in desperate need of shocks. Have a set of Bilstein HD's on order (since mid-Feb) with Shockwarehouse.com - they are backordered until the end of APRIL.
Seems like everywhere I look I can't find the Bilstein HD's
I really can't wait much longer to replace - and I have a bunch of long trips in March and April. Shocks are beyond worn out....
Since I can get the Bilstein HD's, what other shocks should I look at/consider?
Truck is a 2007 SuperCrew Lariat 2WD
Running the Ford 20" aluminum wheels
Put 15 to 20,000 miles a year on it
It is a "street" truck - the only "offroad" I do in it are occasional gravel/count roads to and from the lease.
Occasionally pull a trailer (4 to 6,000#) - not alot of towing.
Use the truck for commuting and highway trips.
