suspension question

Love my new truck but I have a concern. It's lowered with DJM parts, 3 1/2 and 5". Rides not that great and the rear suspension was flipped without notching the frame. I've got maybe 3" of clearance (maybe) and have already bottomed out a couple of times. After I put on the Snugtop its probably gonna be even worse. Any suggestions on what to do to remedy that? Notch the frame? Start over with different suspension? Not sure where to go from here but just want it done right.

That's why I will never buy a custom truck/car used. Their ignorance leads to stuff like this. Good luck!

is the rear just a shackle flip?

flip kits are notorious for a chitty ride.

you could try a drop leaf/drop shackle combo. and if youre still pressed for clearance definitely notch it. also make sure your shocks are the right length, nobody likes a shock that bottoms out lol.

youd love the ride of airbags if you did it tho...

If you have the time and the money, I'd go airbags all the way!

I'd do helper bags as a way to control rear end sag, and bounce.

Im assuming you have a decent shock already.
