When i was looking into installing mine 2 years ago I was quoted $1000. I decided to do it myself. Really wasnt that bad. Just followed directions. Hardest part was the front differential and really wasnt that bad. It's very time consuming. Took 10 hours.

Just call around to different shops, its not the hardest thing to install and given that any qualified mechanic could do it makes it even cheaper. I paid 500 w/ mount balance and alignment

The shop I found wants 2800.00 for the lift and another 1,000 for the install.
Includes the lift, 4-9000xl shocks, tax, alignment, warranties the work.
Does this sound inline. I have found the Lift cheaper elsewhere until you add the shocks then its almost just as much....after paying shipping.
Although he didnt say anything about the rancho debit card rebate thing, and I forgot to ask. So not sure if they are unaware of the rebate or just not saying.....Is the card good only for rancho stuff or good for anything anywhere?

$2800 for the Rancho seems like alot to me, even including everything.

Are constricted to 4" ? why not go with a 6" kit for less $$$

Radar is the picture of your truck before or after the lift?

So you paid 2670 for the kit and install, minus a rebate of 500 (is that the rancho debit card). If not then where do you see the rebate at 4wheelparts.

4wheelparts... 2170+115 shipping+1000 to install = 3285
My guy wants 3800 (incl tax) take out the tax (168.00) 3632-3285= 347 diff.

the picture is before the lift, just leveled. new pics coming soon. the price for the lift was $2,029.00 out the door (installed), including the $500 install rebate. this is only during march their "march madness" sale. it would have been almost $2700. i'm in fl, i don't know if that matters.

Ok found another shop
2100 for the kit..730 for the install including alignment.=2830
So a little over a grand cheaper than the other guy.

Checking 4wheelparts..they want 2170.95 (shipping extra)

Could probably find it cheaper online elsewhere, but then the shop probably will charge me more to put it on.

How is that the installed price? That's a wicked good deal if that's all you got charged... Its like they forgot to charge you labor... and tax.

That a Rancho Lift too? With shocks?

I got the black rancho 4" lift with the 9000XL shocks for $2,105.24 after taxes, with free shipping to my local store. That was with 10% off from 4wheelparts, but before the $500 debit card that should be coming from Rancho. The 4wheelparts guy said it would be about $800 to install.

Sounds like you got a heck of a deal Radar!

In another thread Radar said he got a ProComp lift. 4wheelparts is offering $250 back on that lift, doubled if you use it for installation. So his lift cost $2,529 installed.

Looking at their website now you can get the procomp 6" lift with the ES3000 shocks for $1,732. Take off $250 and you're at $1,482 before shipping/tax. Radar paid $2,029, a difference of $547, plus the $250 discount on installation gives us $797 he "spent" on shipping/tax and installation.
