Smile HELP? Leveling Kit need Camber kit

I have a 2004 f150 stx xcab. i recently installed a 3" leveling kit(measures 1 3/4) and 2" rear shackles from canook motor sports for $140. After going to a reputable alignment shop they told me i would definatly need a camber kit. Total would cost $250. ($90 for alignment, $75 for camber kit, $ 80 for install.) My question is a camber kit nessesary? i will prolly in order a kit from rockauto and install them myself for $45. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks

figures, i almost wish i got the 2.5 kit so i wouldnt need the camber kit and less stress on tie rod ends. it does look like its sitting on edge of tire. fyi amazon is selling selling same camber kit for $25 shipped.

It's your ball joints that are stressed, not the tie rod ends. I'd suggest researching prices on replacement ball joints because you will probably need a set soon.

yeah true, gonna wait till i get new tires and do that the ball joints and boots(after i hacked them with tie rod fork tool). truck still pretty tight, got 73k. i think truck actually drives better with the leveling kit. feels like it stiffened the front end. no noticable added body roll. presently saving for 4.56s
