please tell me your not actually considering butchering your truck to make a leveling kit work...:o

relocating control arms an inch lower is not butchering. just trying to not spend any more $

I would definitely swap the kit for a 2.5" AS kit. What tires are you running that you need such extended front end and ball joint blowing angles?

20x10 with -25 offset, tires are 305/55/20 nitto trail grapplers. fender flares had to be trimed an inner fender well pulled back to clear. the average 2.5" kit will not be enough

So had the kit actually yeilded you the advertised 2.5", the wheels and tires you purchased would not have worked?

Sounds like poor planning is the root of the problem and not the leveling kit

I just looked at your photos. I did my AutoSpring 2.5" kit last week. I wanted to note a couple of things.

One: On a 2.5" level kit, the "puck" shouldn't actually be 2.5". It'll be smaller just like someone has already said. When I looked at your pictures, I could see the "puck" once it was on the truck. My guess is that the kit they sold you is actually too big. I understand not wanting to spend more money...just raise some hell with the company you got it from. The squeaky wheel gets the most grease!

Two: When I did mine, the truck seemed to sit high until I got my alignment done. I even thought it looked like it was popping a wheelie! Maybe that's all it would take to get your truck to settle a bit. This is a picture after the level but before the alignment:

Best of luck!
