Not sure, need advice!

Alright, well here it all is. Some of you have probably already read a few of my posts on here about going with a lift. I have been thinking hard and I can't decide, I keep going back and forth.

Background Info:

Got an '05 with 33" tires right now. I just bought an edge for it, and plan on moving up in tire size to 35"s pretty much regardless of what I do. Right now I have a AS 2.5" leveling kit. I do a lot of towing with this truck, one of our trips is around in 750 miles round trip, mostly interstate driving. I also do quite a bit of local towing, I probably have a trailer on the truck 2-3 times a month, varying tow loads come with this. I am tore between a 6" kit or leaving the leveling kit and putting 35"s on. I also plan on re-gearing either way to just because of towing trying to keep the ratio as close to stock as I can with the larger tire size.

So here is where I need my opinion swayed one way or the other.

Option 1
6" Rough Country Lift and 35" tire combo.
I have researched quite a bit, but just want to go ahead an ask. After I buy the kit, what else should I expect to buy in the suspension department. I know i will need wheels/tires, regear sooner than later, but what else should I expect to drop money on with the 6" kit to have the truck ready to put on 35"s. Also, I have been told that I should be fine with towing. I guess right now I'm kinda worried about towing with a lift like that, but I'm not positive. I know mpg's are probably going to suck, with a level and 33"s im getting about 9 on the interstate. With an edge and re-gear I hope that would help some.

Option 2
Leave the leveling kit, get 35"s smack them on there and get some riderites to help keep that back end up when towing.

Let me know what everyone thinks, I appreciate any comments I could get on this.

-Alex

Of course, you will need an alignment. Depending on your powertrain and how you use your truck, you may need to regear with 35's.

Yeah I knew I would need the alignment, and plan on re-gearing in the summer or soon hopefully. I guess my question is, am i going to need shocks, rear aals, stuff like that? Is most of that included in the kit? Would I just need the kit and an aal?

The kit should include everything you need.

the rough country lift dosent come with the kicker braces, I just bought the r.c. lift from www.ntwonline.com and got it for 1321.10 shipped with the kicker braces. It is their suspension special. Also you might need to replace your ball joints depending on the condition of them, it will be easier to do it when you have the truck apart, then doing it later IMO.

Kicker braces, those just traction bars? Not exactly sure what it is. I have been quoted about 1190 for a 6" shipped to my house new.
