Have an 04 w/6" Pro Comp. Headed to inspection and from past experience NJ won't allow the double blocks in the rear. Anyone replaced these with a single block. If so, what did you use and who has a good price?

Also, any constructive feedback (what to do next, improve..etc) on the truck is appreciated?

What size and how much do you want?

Did anyone have to extend the rr d/s with a 6" or add a spacer? Shop said it will slip on the ouput if I don't.

Gotta love jersey

I think you should be fine with your driveshaft. Before you go make sure all your lights work including your licsense plate lights. They failed me just because one of my licsense plates wasnt working.

Why don't you guys look into a 2" lift shackle and remove one of your blocks? I guess if you have to remove a block, you're already there to put a bigger block in...

In any event, installing a lift shackle is pretty easy and I think it would be safer than a huge 5.5" block in there. eBay has them all day. Just something else to consider...

I prefer to use longer leaf springs. Much safer than blocks.

I have a buddy who is double blocked in the rear and just went through inspection last month. He went to the one down off hwy 30. The only thing they gave him a hard time about was he went bigger with his tires. He is now maxed out. He has a f250 and he was going to add clearance lights but they told him that would put him over.

Thanks Guys! Appreciate all the suggestions.

If you go to the NJ web they have a high level (no pun intended) of all the rules and regulations. Or if you call them they will fax you a copy.
