Springtech 5.5/3 2wd?

I've been doing some looking and i might get the Springtech 5.5" front and 3" rear for a 97 2wd F-150. I was just wondering if anyone else has it and if there are any reasons not to get it. For the rear is says 3" blocks with "lift" shocks, not so sure on that. Will the shocks actually lift the rear up more cause having 2.5" higher in the front will definatly give me a "cali lean"

lift shocks means they are longer for the lift but the will not give you lift. id do an AAL in back to correct for the lean. only negatives ive heard are for their coil spacers

they have 3" inch blocks that lift or level the rear. the "lift" shocks are only 3 inches longer to work with the extension it needs to fit. shocks dont actually lift anything on their own.

5.5 and 3 should technically level the truck. thats like adding a 2.5" level kit on a stock truck. the kit should have everything you need to lift with a level outcome. no cali lean. but not all trucks are the same. if your nose high, just add an aal or shackle kit.

Crewzer. The 97-03 2wd trucks are about 1.5" low in front rather than the larger rake of the nbs trucks. Where in sugarland are you from. My parents live in Missouri city

Op if younwant the kit get it and see what it's like when it's on see what needs to be done to get it sitting how you want. That's what i had to do with mine.

You can get that kit from springtech with either the 3" or 4" block. You will probably sit better with the 4".

I didn't know that campo, thats good to know. 5.5 on the front a 4 in the rear should be about dead even.

Should i worry about the coil spacers or no?

This kit comes with either 3" or 4" blocks and lift springs. No need to even consider spacers.

Oh alright thanks alot campo, when i looked them up i found the 5.5" springtech but it came with 3" blocks instead of 4" and 2" coil spacers instead of the new coils for some reason.

I have this exact lift kit, thanks Dnasty.

OP- The kit is a good kit. The rear shocks are ridiculously stiff and the coil spacers are crap. You can either get lift springs or daystar 1.5" coil spacers(how i went). This will give you 5"s in front. The lift spindles look exactly like the doetsch and fabtech spindles.

I upgraded the rear shocks(which has been explained that they arent lift shocks just shocks for the lift) after about a month of riding on them and being sick of them to bilstein 5100s. great shocks.

when i put the kit on the truck it was exactly level, but now that the springs have settled down into the spacer its about an inch tail high.however my truck has 125k miles on it so the next step will be new stock springs.
