Well it does say 4" lift, but I am used to seeing a couple leaf springs for that.... I mean you could try it. Measure it before and after install. If its not 4" then return it. I mean they did say 4"... But ya I think that should be fine. I have never had the skyjacker aals before, so I don't know if they really are "soft ride".... thats the only other thing I would be concerned about if I were you. But I like a stiff ride, and I liked the aals I had put in. Rancho uses the blocks right? So if you replace the rancho bock with this, it should work, but I would hang on to that block until you're sure
thats the thing i bought the kit used doesnt have the block, ive also been looking at the pro comp 4" and 5.5" blocks. Im trying to use the rancho lift plus another 1.5" in the front and rear thats the end goal
you can ask OGTerror... he's used some really tall blocks before, lol... but he replaced them with deavers. I think you'll be fine, but if you're going to be doing a lot of towing or offroading I would definitely to with leaf springs as opposed to a bigger block... For two reasons that I can think of: 1) based off my experience, you'll want the added firmness of the leaf springs once you get those tires on there and start driving, especially offroad, it will reduce body roll; 2) Leaf springs will help prevent axle wrap up. This is something to be seriously considered if you're going to be doing a lot of towing, hauling, or offroading... But I think a 5" block is as big as I personally would go. I had looked into the pro comp 4.5" block, but went with the aals instead. I am much happier. I got the height I wanted plus added stability.

I put 3in aals on mine, I didn't get the full 3in I got 2.5in. This could be because I tow a lot and my stock leafs may have flattened out a little. IMO any time you add an aal the ride is gonna get stiffer.
alright cool im gonna get a 4" block and probably a 2" AAL which should give me about 4" lift in the back. I think it should be level with the 4" lift up front plus a 1.5" AS spacer up front.
