Yeah I'm courious too as to why "reverse sucks" too? Sounds like you want to go bigger anyway and you're blaming the leveling to justify it. There are plenty of people on here that are leveled with no problems.

im guessing what i noticed on mine. (6 inches shorter though) in reverse the alignment is off (caster) and while turning it seemed to jump alittle. kinda skip along. gave me a funny feeling so i jacked it up to check everything's tq'ed right. although the taller the tire the worse it gets.

and now with turning the strut 180* it changed the stiffness of the strut. different ride with the suspension lift he had. but dont hate the level.

what im wondering is what went kaputz? and add the body lift with what you have.

I'd like to hear more details on your problems with the leveling kit.

05crewzer couldnt of explained the reverse problem any better.
And for the thought I would need to blame the level to add more lift is pretty much ridiculous. I def dont want to spend another 300 on a BL and the 300 for new parts to fix my blown out parts. Oh and another 600 or so to install the BL. I have had a level on my truck since day one (almost 5 years) so lift your truck up, try the same and tell me how it goes

i noticed right when i backed out of the driveway after putting them in. its a wierd feeling.

i see your point.but dont hate the level, hate the combo. when i get the dough i plan on lifting with 6" but prob will leave the level off.

i love the fact your 2wd and going towards 37's

Oh you guys are getting me wrong, the level it self is amazing! It is a very very cost effect way to make a few inches. It is the combo that I hate....

i gotcha bro. i was stating "hate the combo" because i agree. i also would only get the lift and leave the level off. im just curious on your next step, is it the body lift? lookin forward to see.

at first i did not quite get what you were saying. but it makes sense. adding the two sounds rough. i would have prob gone the same route before reading other peoples experience.

until i get the money i'll just stick to the level. its very nice.

damn man i am sorry you have had such bad luck! i have had the 6 inch fabtech and 2.5 level on my 2wd for 3 years and never had a problem. in fact i just noticed my upper ball joints wearing down the other day but i do have 65,000 miles on them so i don't think that is too bad. what all went wrong?

The tie rod end went bad, upper control joint and lowers. I cannot believe how much help forums can be if you let them. All the replacement parts + caster camber kit was only $300. Every truck truly is different
