I ma wanting to know what lift you have and where your door handel is off the ground(from the handel part, not surround). I am looking into a 8" rize and 4" rancho, but would like to hear from everyone.

8" Rize and 4" Rancho , thats quite a big difference lol.

if you got the dough , go with the rize. the Rancho is a great kit , but for the price to be 2" higher than a leveling kit is not worth it IMO.

I will be going with the 8" rize lift. I found a place that will install the 8" rize with rear blocks, and 37/13.5/r20 nitto trail grapplers mount & balance and alinment for 4650.00 out the door. I just half to get some rims with the right backspacing(5" or less for 20s) and get the money saved up for the lift.

Well everyone so far that has gone with an 8+inches of lift had to get their driveshaft lengthened or a custom one. But I guess you can be the one to test out that theory first haha. But for real though even guys with 6inch lifts got spacers for their driveshafts bc it pulled it out of the T-Case enough to cause problems

I called Rize and they said there is a small chance I will half to get a double yoke type thing that will lessen the angle. He said the only problem I may have is a vibration due to the extream angle, not the lingth. I called 4 wheel parts and on the last F150 on the 8" Rize lift they installed a 2.5" drive shaft spacer from procomp. That may be a something I may need to do. First I half to sell my rims and get some with the proper back spacing.
I dont know what exactly I will half to do with gears yet. I will half to see what I have first.

Yah I know you had to do something with the driveshaft. For me I'm going with a double cardan joint most likely.

i will look that up. i may get one so that when I get the lift put on in nashville I can drive back to memphis without tearing something up. What gears would you run in with the 37-38" tires. I am looking at getting the nitto trail grapplers in 37 or 38/13.5R20. cant rember if they are 37 or 38".

Where will you be getting your double cardan joint from and how much will it run?

I got a couple website I can give you but google PST couple members have their driveshafts with 8+ inch lifts. I was qouted that it would start at 250 but then ill give the rest of the measurements and all depends on the length I need it to be. Ill be running 14inches of lift in suspension so its gonna be like 600 I'm guessing at the most with shipping but for you it would be less.

Gears you would want 4.88 front/rear. I went with yukon and love them. Gets up and go a lot quicker than stock gearing. Plus you will wear your tranny big time running stock gears and 37+ tires.
