Quick leveling question

I'm kinda new at this, but here's a quick question. I want to level my 95 F150 2WD. The rear has springs and shocks and sits about 5 inches higher than the front. My plan was to put Bilstein 5100 4in lift shocks up front to level it out. Would I need to replace the front springs as well or can I leave the stock springs on with the 5100s? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

I would think you need new coils bc they are not like the newer trucks to where they are together. You dont drive around with it being 5inches higher in the rear do you? I wanna see some pics of this kinda rake

You don't have a coilover suspesion so that's not an option for you. You have twin I-Beams and coilsprings. Some companies make 2 inch lifted coils and Daystar makes a coilspring spacer for your truck. You OEM coils are probably sagged out so new coils may be the best option.

hey thanks for the info guys. I know that the 95s aren't coilover like the newer trucks. bilstein has both the coilovers and plain lift shocks.

so if I got these, it would prob be a good idea to replace the coils too?

i actually think those are shocks for a truck already with a lift. they dont bring up the front end by themsleves.

Yea those shocks are for lifted trucks that need longer shocks, not to actually lift the truck. You best bet is to get new coils that are 2 inches longer and it should even you out.

That's correct, those shocks won't lift the truck on their own.

it would be cool and cheap if they did. 2,4,6 inch lifts at that price. nice
