Thumbs down wich lift?

I'm looking to get a 4" maybe a 6" lift for my 2wd. Just wanting to lift it up and stuff some 35's in there. Nothing to fancy and I'd like it to be relatively cheap per say. Any clue to which lift would fit my desires as far as reliability and price wise?

they don't make a 4 inch for a 2wd. and you want cheap? go with pro comp stage 1 lift, i think that is the cheapest on the market. But remember you get what you pay for, my friend got this kit and the spacers bent. You want a good lift kit thats a little more? Go with the fabtech kit, its well built. Regardless of which you get they are really easy installs (done both)

ps i have a 2wd so you can look at my pics if you want some ideas

Thanks Thor. You have a very nice looking truck btw. I've been looking around for different kits but have not decided which would fit my budget. I'll be going to the field for a month soon so hopefully we'll have internet and I'll be able to do more research for the setup I'm looking for. Nothing fancy just the basic lift and I'll probably just keep the oem 17" rims and put some BFG's on them or something along those lines.

I agree. I'd go with the Stage 1 Pro Comp 6 inch lift.

So my next question is does the stage 1 kit come with everything I need to complete the lift. I want to make sure I get all the hardware I need, or is there anything recommended to get along with the kit?

Yes, the stage 1 kit comes with everything you need. I believe it lifts the front 6 inches and the rear 3 inches.

you MIGHT want to get an AAL or a bigger block though.. it just depends on how you want your truck to sit

You will probably end up with the back sitting a little lower then the front. I persoanlly don't like the look and i would probably end up buying a 4" block, maybe even a 5" block depending how much rake you have stock.

I'm going to disagree that it comes "complete".

No brake lines, yet most of us agree that would be a good thing for a truck lifted 6 inches. $100 for a set.

you wont need break lines unless you are adding a spacer on top or cranking coil overs. just letting you know
