Sorry, but one more question about a Tacoma

Ok...I actually stooped low enough to sign up on a tacoma forum (customtacos.com or some ****), just to try to find out for my buddy if the leveling kit problems with a tacoma are the same as a f150. Needless to say the guys on that forum were helpless, and douches as well...

For all the suspension guru's out there, if you could please answer this...

I know a 3" leveling kit is too much of a lift on the front ball joints, but is this the same for a 04 4x4 Sr5 tacoma???

just from looking around, I see alot more 4x4 tacoma's with 3" leveling spacers than i see f150's, so that might mean theyre ok?? He would really rather a 3", but not if his Ball joints are gonna be shot after 10k

Also, btw, the leveling kit comes with a Differential drop kit, which supposedly helps CV joint angles..

anyone?

i wouldnt go over 2.5", angles are really bad. its not the same for every truck. i used to have a 150 i would never put a 3" on it. now on my tundra a put a 3/1 on it and the angles are fine

Just order the Hellbent Steel 2.5" kit and differential drop spacer for it

Every truck is different. 3" is common on a Taco.

1.) its not a body lift, its a leveling kit

2.) the taco has the same size motor as your heavy full size truck (V6 ), making the little taco actually more powerful (V6)

3.) 4wd..enough said

4.) pwned
