Welcome to the site.

My personal opinion, and most everyone here would agree, is the Auto Springs (aka the AS ) level kit. Where some disagree is the size. Personally I'd never go above the 2" version, unless you plan to add something to raise the rear as well. I have a 2" on mine now and the front sits higher then the rear. So I got another 1.5" AS that I hope to get on soon. Imo Alot of people SAY their truck is level, but actually aren't. Every truck is "different" imho and it's really a crap shoot to know what will work for yours. But again, I wouldn't go any bigger then 2".

May not be much help, but that's my personal opinion.

If you need new front shocks go with Bilstein. If you don't want to spend 400 to level then go with the Auto Spring spacer.

The Bilstein's ride super duper nice, I am so happy with mine.

hmmm i'm not sure i would consider 1400 bux 'cheap', but, it costs what it costs...
i guess i'm the cheap one.

actually, I do have a question: why level? what does this do for the truck? other than the obvious. that is. Ford built it at a slant, why did they do that and why is it better leveled?

Here is there site...
http://www.autospringcorp.com/products/index.html

You can buy off of Ebay. If you can't find what you are looking for or need any specific info email them (AS) from their contact info off of there site. They will link you to what you are needing and help you with any other info.
Good luck

Autospring is the way to go. also, go with the powdercoated version. its only $10 more, and you don't have to worry about rust problems as much down the road.

im pretty sure ford throws the rake on there for towing/hauling purposes.

i guess cheap is a relative term here, but find someone in your town running any full size half ton with 35's, and ask them what it cost them... most will have had a shop install a 6" kit, which parts alone is usually over 1400, then labor, and THEN the couple grand in wheels/tires. around here a typical 6/35 combo runs around 5k out the door

hell, i could have done it for under a grand, but i just couldnt live without those black wheels

Blak,

Is your truck a super crew or what? 4x4?
