Flip kit, Hangers and shackle...possible?

Flip kit, Hangers and shackle...possible?
06 4WD... Im lowering the rear with a flip kit. 6" then 2" lift hangers for a total of a 4" drop... my question is, if im not happy with the height can I still use lowering shackles to drop it an extra 1" or 2", or does the "lift hanger" set up get in the way?
