lift question

I currently have a black 08 supercrew with 33 in mickey thompson atz's and 18x9 XD series hoss chrome wheels. I've been looking to get a 6 inch lift with 35x12.50 toyo mt but the stores say I will have to get 1 inch spacers all around due to the backspacing on my rims. Just was wondering if anyone had this problem with these rims and if anyone had pics of a 6 inch lift with spacers.

Some kits have certain backspacing requirements for the wheels. I believe Fabtech does but Rancho does not. What kit are you looking at and what is the BS on your wheels?

I was looking at the rough country lift which has a 4.5 inch BS but then a guy said that was garbarge compared to the BDS lift he would sell me but said i would have to get 1 inch spacers. I believe the current BS on my wheels is 6in but i need to go and clarify that. I just dont want my tires to be sticking out too much so if anyone has pics of some lifts with spacers id love to see them.

The best kits for your truck are probably the Fabtech, RCD and BDS followed by Rancho and Pro Comp. I've also seen good reviews on the Superlift and Skyjacker lifts for the 04-08's.

Yea the atz's have been great. Almost everyone thinks they are mud terrain because they look so agressive. and they ride great as long as you get them rotated.

and thanks for the help wandell
