Pro Comp Coilover ride?????

I drove an f150 with the Fabtech Stage 1 kit today. No wonder they are going to Bilstein struts. It rode like absolute crap. 35's on 18x9 wheels. The rep at Fabtech told me the Coilovers are a little stiffer on the Stage 2 kit. I can't imagine. Are the Pro Comp coilovers any better? I definitely not putting a 6 inch spacer on top. So coilovers are my only choice. Any thoughts?

That 6" spacer might look silly, but it ride like stock (and for good reason). So far mine has held up to quite a bit of abuse with no issues what so ever.

As for the coil-overs, I didn't really care for the Pro Comp coil overs. They felt under dampened for the spring rate, which translates to a harsh and often times bouncy ride.

The other difference is that it contains one less bush in the blade assembly. I'm not sure exactly what impact this has, but both the 5606 and 5740 use the different blade mounting hardware.

I'm thinking of upgrading to the Procomp coilovers also. Should I get Fabtech's ones instead?

My pro comp coilovers have been great and they ride quite a bit nicer then my neighbors 6" spacer. I have close to 65K on the suspension and they are not showing any signs of needing to be rebuilt..

I believe fox makes the procomp C/O's and PC puts their stamp on them. Not the exact same internals as fox..but close.

When I first had my procomp lift put on I had a 6"spacer for the front. A little over a year ago I put fabtech coilovers on and it rides a lot better, you definately can tell a difference. Theres a lot of people that ride in my truck and are shocked with how nice it rides with all the lift and big tires on it.

Correct. I had a 6" spacer with 2" leveling kit, so then when I got the coilovers took away the spacer and cranked them up for a additional 2" inches.

That's what I needed to know. Want to make sure that when they're cranked up it doesn't make the ride harsh. Now I just need to decide which ones I want. I love the color of the camburg, but are made for stock height.

I emailed camburg yesterday and they told me that sway away can build me the coilovers to fit a procomp lift for $1100.
