wheels move independently!?

So I recently installed a 4 inch trailmaster lift on my 2003 F150 Supercrew. Bought new tires and when I went to get the alignment they said they couldn't do it because of too much play in the steering. I checked it out and determined it was the tie rods. I replaced all 4 tie rods and everything was much tighter in the front end.

Went back to get the alignment and everything went smooth. That was about a week ago. Today I was looking at my truck and noticed it looked out of alignment. I had my friend kick the tire. The tire that he kicked moved a good amount but the other tire did not move at all. The other side did the same thing!

Needless to say I was quite pissed off but I don't understand why this is happening. I don't want to burn through my brand new tires and any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

What you want to do is get the front end off the ground and move the wheels by hand and look at your sterring componets to see what is moving.

Since you have a 2003, I'd gess the ball joints are worn out.

Don't forget to check the idler arm as well. If it needs replacing, I suggest a Moog Problem Solver. I recently used a Ford replacement, and it went bad in 3 months. In my opinion, the Moog replacement is way beefier......I also used Moog brand ball joints, and tie rod ends. If your rig has alot of miles, you might as well freshen it all up while you are there.

Thanks everyone. I know there is a ball joint in the upper control arm but where else should I be looking? the ball joints in the tie rod ends are brand new and I forgot to mention that I also just installed a new idler arm right before the lift.
