if i get a 3.5 inch spindle kit for my 2003 f150 2wd do i need to get shocks for it? also what size rear block would i need to make it level? and also do you guies have a prefrence on shocks or spindle(whether spuspension max, dotesch, etc...) if i were to go with shocks and the spindle kit, as well as the rear blocks, what other parts would i need if any? i need the help because i am looking to buy within a couple days here i have a buddy who will help me do the install for free!
fabtech makes a spindle kit which inculdes the 3.5 inch spindles, rear blocks and hardware and shock. its about 900 i think or you can buy everything cheaper like the the doestch spindles.
and if you just put the spindle kit on you should only be about 1/2 inch higher in the front
and if you just put the spindle kit on you should only be about 1/2 inch higher in the front
so if i just go with the doestch 3.5 inch spindle up front and nothing else i will get thelook i want? the front end will only sit a 1/2 inch higher then the back.... if so im just going to go that way and get the spindle only...should i expect my ride to feel the same?
all spindle does is move the truck up higher, you still are on factory coils/shocks so should ride exactly the same unless you put big tires on it that ride differently

i measured from the ground to the wheel well and the front is 2.5 inches shorter for me, i have a supercrew if that make a difference. so ill be riding an inch taller upfront.if i dont like it afterwards ill get a 1 inch block in the back...ill be able to fit 285's?
my supercab shortbed is the same length as your scew.
youll be nose high with the spindles so you can always see what size block you want after you install the spindles.
and im running 285's (33"s) with just an coil spacer

how can it be as simple as just getting the spindle only haha(sorry im confused doing too much online research) .. i see they sell whole kits including coil springs, front and rear shocks, alignmant cam, etc... i mean i dont wanna spend that kind of money id much rather go with the spindle only but whats the difference? i love how my stock ride feels so if nothing would change i'll ask no more questions and just get the spindle only. thanks guys, sorry im a truck idiot, gotta ask the questions to learn...
the spindles replace your stock ones and move the wheel down 3.5" while being same dimensions as stock but some add more width to the front track than others, the doetsch ones dont really increase it at all thats why people like them
the camber bolts are needed if you add a lift coil or spacer to help with alignments because the create a different geometry up front. its also recommended to get longer shocks up front with lift coils or spacers but not required.
you can do a spindle and lift coil and get about 5.5" up front if you want. and you might as well if you plan on going higher ever haha
in the rear the new blocks need new u bolts and longer shocks.
