any lift needed

I have a jeep that uses 285/75/16 tires. What I was thinking of doing is running the tires to 50% tread and put them on my 1999 f150 4x4. Does anybody think they will fit or what will I need to do to get them to fit. I got my wife to agree to lifting the truck a little if needed by saying we will never have to buy tires for to truck again. What a deal!

thanks for the reply, I didn't want to let my trail tires go to waste after they out lived there trail life. And hated the idea of buying tires for my truck.
