Topguncustomz?

Anyone order their lift from them ?

Have any problems with them, missing parts , customer service ?

Looking at the Pro-Comp Stage 1 , they seem to have the best price, besides ebay.

I've always heard really good stuff from people who bought from them. I even heard they will sell you pieces of kits, so you don't have to buy the whole thing, I thought that was pretty cool they'd do that.

they actually have an e bay site. As for missing parts that would be up to the lift company to assure all parts are intact. They are just the middle men

true, but i was just curious on how the company handled the situation if it happened , i.e , they tell you to go to Pro-comp , pro comp tells you to talk to them , etc.....

Top Gun Customz is a good company. The back and forth between the seller and the manufacturer if there is an issue depends on the manufacturer. Some don't ever want to talk to the end user, others put a statement right in the box to call them directly if there is an issue, they will take care of it directly.

But regarding your choice of a kit. I'm just wondering why pick that one? There are much better kits out there for a little bit more money. For about a hundred bucks more you can get a kit with replacement struts rather than a spacer, extended brake lines rather than just a relocation bracket, and a replacement front drive line.

Honestly , i dont off road , it will be a street queen and the Pro-comp stage 1 lift will be more then plenty for my needs.

I quoted the wrong post. I was referring to the Stage 1 kit. A good lift kit will demonstrate it's virtues even more on a "street queen" than off-road. 1st is wear and tear. The stage 1 kit uses a spacer on top of the OEM strut. The replacement strut that a higher-end kit will have will be valved for the weight of a 35" or similar tire, the factory one is not. Therefore handling and wear on the front tires will be better with a replacement strut. 2nd is safety. Do a search on this forum for brake lines on lifted trucks. You'll see several posts where guys have had brake lines blow out or come loose from the mount because they were stretched. That's bad if you are off road at relatively low speed, but it's real bad if you're coming down a freeway off ramp. Third, the vibration caused from an out-of balance drive shaft will be more apparent on the road than off.

It's not like you're faced with all this stuff costing an extra grand. As I said, you can get it for about a hundred bucks more.

sweet man! I can't wait to see what you rig looks like... Are you gonna run a level kit (or LK system, like bilstein 5100s) or something? or just straight up 6+3? Cause I really want to see what that looks like... I want to run a 37" MT with no rubbing with good angles.... If I could go back and do it all over... I would probably have done a 6" and cranked it to 8", but I still would want good angles :P so this is probly the best route for me. Im just afraid 9" is gonna be too high for my preferences

just straight 6+3. i contemplated going with a 4" kit , but its not worth the money to gain an inch or two over a leveling kit. and if you think about it, a 6" kit will only make our trucks ( Leveling kit/ BL ) sit 3-3.5" higher than they are now , so i dont think it will be too big.

went to my local shop today , they are big on BDS and said they can get a good deal on their stage one kit, wont know the exact price till monday.

but now im looking into the Bds kit. if they can do it for 1,700 or even 1,800 i ll prolly go with that. i like the "no fine print warranty" , also comes with new front brake lines and the rear sits level with a block + Aal.

also looking into the Bilstein struts for 4-6" lifts to get rid of the spacer
