Rancho QuikLift Install Help

Fellas,
I just got my new Rancho Quiklift struts which are pretty much like the Bilstein 5100's and cant get these beasts back together. I compressed the springs and pulled the stock struts out like normal but I can not get them compressed enough to get them back together. I've done struts several times so i wasnt worried at all about these... til now.

Am i missing something or is it just impossible to get these springs pinched without a press?

Thanks in advance guys!

I think it's pretty dangerous to compress the springs more than than replacing standard shocks unless using a press. Don't risk injury...bring them to somone/place with a press! They shouldn't charge too much and it's money well spent.

I dropped them off this morning. I got sick of messing with it. I shouldv'e thought about that 2.5'' ahead of time! Oh well. Onward and upward!

Here's another question... How do I adjust the height?

I was able to compress my springs enough to install, but it's a pretty heavy duty compressor. As stated, there is no adjustment. The stated range of 1" to 2" is just that. I initially had 2" after the install, but it has settled some since. After adding my supercharger, which puts a lot of weight over the front end, I'd say I'm at at 1.5".
