New or painted Torsion Bars

I tried to do a search to see what people have done if anything with their torsion bars. I recently had my 98 150 lifted 6" with 35's and now I can really see my torsion bars. They are not very good looking. All the coating is pealing off and looks real bad when it's right nest to the nice new shinny parts form fabtech. So the question, what have you guys done with yours? Painted them? left them alone? Put new ones in?

Thanks
Dave

Get you a wire brush and some black rustoleum. Go to town with the wire brush and then clean it off and paint them with the rustoleum. They will look brand new.

njmike, minimonster17 said he's selling a set above. Might want to give him a shout and see if it would work.

What colors has everyone gone with. I have a green 98 F-150 extended cab and can't think of a good color. Does any one have pictures of their color schemes?

Your truck is about the same color as mine, like I said I have yellow calipers and skid plates and will do the torsions in the spring when it warms up. I think the yellow goes well with the dark green
