Leveling Kit NEED HELP!

I went to install my brand new 3" Leveling kit on my truck yesterday.

The truck came with a kit when I bought it and I figured it would just come out and the new 3 in?

It turns out that the kit that is in there is a 1" thick RED poly Spacer and the kit changed out the Studs in the strut.

Now I cannot install my 3" HBS kit because of these studs....

Does anyone have any idea how big and or what kit this is on my truck?

The truck measures from the ground to the top of the fenderwell 40"

And from the top of the fender to the top of the tire 9".

The tires are nitto terra grapplers that are 31" Tall on a tape measure

I will try to post pics but I want to know what kit this could be and will the 3" kit make the truck any bigger.

Please help so I dont have to pull the truck apart again to no avail.

Thanks Much for any replys.

Not exactly sure what your trying to do? If the truck already has a level kit you cannot add/stack a second one and unless something is wrong with the current one why replace? There were several different brands of those type kits made with the poly spacer. To install or remove them will require a spring compressor. Also most on this site feel that a 2.5" level is the max you should go. The 3" can cause some really severe angles.

I am trying to replace the one in there to get more lift.

I am just curious how big the one in there is because if its a 2.5 I will not mess with it I am trying to post pics up as well.

I posted the Pics in My Albums please take a look and let me know what ya think.

And if you can post them in the thread that would be great too

im not sure how much lift that poly spacer gives you but the spacer on my 3" kit (on top of the strut) only measures 1.75". you said the poly spacer is 1" but your truck looks like its up about 2.5-3" in the front right now. like ab46501 said, the only way to get that poly spacer out is with a spring compressor so i'd just leave it like it is. if your trying to get clearance for bigger tires, you could try and see if they will fit. if not, then change out the spacers.

My guess is from the pictures in your album and what you measured to the top of the fender well is that you already have a 2 1/2 to 3 inch level. The 2 1/2 to 3 inch level is what is supposed to be acheived. It is not what the spacer measures. I went out and measured to the top of my fender well and it was 40.75 inches. I have a 32 inch tire so we are about the same and mine is a 2 1/2 kit.

No, I don't think its worth it. If you want more lift just install a BL, or a 4"-6" suspension. Just my .02 worth though.

Agreed not worth it since you'll have to get aligned again also.
