Lift and leveling

Is anybody on here running a leveling kit over a lift kit (6")if so does anybody have any pics of it

A few members are. I'm sure they will be along shortly. Most people agree, it's probably not a good idea to stack a leveling kit with a 6 inch lift that uses a 6 inch spacer with the OEM coilover shocks like the Pro COmp Stage One.

I think you are right about this. If the lift includes a new strut, that MAY be a different story.

I know Chevy guys who run torsion bar keys on top of their lift kits for that last inch and a half without problems.

I think that is worse than stacking spacers.

Why? Other than the fact that torsion bar keys limit the already limited IFS travel I don't see a safety flaw with it.

Just the extreme CV and ball joint angles they create which increases wear and tear. Also, the ride quality goes to heck if they are really cranked up and the front suspension has no down travel (droop) left.

The CV and ball joint angles are corrected to stock by the diff drop and spindles, so the torsion bar keys only add the effect that they would on a stock truck.

Still, I would not do that on my own truck.

Your angles with that lift dont really look bad at all. It looks nice.

yea the angles arent that bad. thanks for the compliment.

as for a front shot. this is the only other one i have. i would take more but the wife drove my truck to work today so i'd have to wait...

the spacer i have is the metal kind like the 6" that comes with the procomp do you guys think that will work
