I'm looking to get a 1 inch or 2 inch leveling kit for my f-150 4x4. any good kits out there? I was looking at daystar 1 inch on ebay. Do u really have to get a alignment done?

what year is your truck and yes you do have to get an alignment unless you want to ruin any tires you run really fast.

2wd or 4wd? You can do either a 2" or 2.5" kit from someone like autospring or hell bent steel and you can get the autospring ones off eBay for about 80-100

Go with auto spring, most people swear by them. 1" isnt worth it though. Well not to me anyway, go with 2" or 2.5" like Jake said.

Consider an AAL or air bags for the rear if you tow. I am going the air bag route one of these days.

I got a 3" kit from FatBobsGarage.com and i love it its all billet aluminum. Anything under 2.5" isnt even worth the money or work.

just fyi ive read alot saying to stay away for the 3" kits because the give you such bad angles and cause accelerated wear. got any picks of your cv and ball joint angles?

I tow a two place enclosed trailer with two sleds all winter, I run a 2.5" autospring leveling kit and it towed fine.. snowmobile trailers are real easy on a truck to pull. But I added the pro comp add a leaf just to get the back up a bit more so when I do tow heavier stuff I wasnt ridin cali style with my *** end down. But the leveling kit and add a leaf are both two great upgrades for a total of less than $300, $70-leveling kit, $100-aal, $90 front end alignment.
