try a leveling kit, i just bought a 2.5 inch for mine and i will be installing it in a few months after my inspection is over, then i dont have to worry about going to the high rise inspection again

That is the worst possible thing he could do. We've already covered why.

Do I need to replace the shocks after I crank up the bars? If so which one's would you guys recommend?

No, you won't need replacement shocks when you crank your torsion bars. Unless the ones on the truck are shot, don't worry about it. You WILL need an alignment after though, but you should get one after you put new tires on anyways.

I agree. And if you need new shock because your's are worn out just get an OEM replacement size.
